Community Advisory Boards

The CCN has two regional Community Advisory Boards (CAB), which are comprised of community volunteers, representing non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, health care agencies, and other community-based groups. The CAB brings the expertise and viewpoints of community members to the Network and are instrumental to ensuring that CCN activities are appropriate and mutually beneficial for the intended communities.

The individuals that serve on the advisory board are committed to improving the health of all citizens and reducing racial/ethnic health disparities. Members serve a two-year term after which new community members are recommended by the advisory board to serve.
